Undergraduate Honors Work or Electronic Theses and Dissertations
Many libraries see institutional repositories as a great way to showcase student work. If you have programs such as an undergraduate research initiative, senior theses, or undergraduate honors, these materials could be placed in a repository for preservation and improved access.
ETD or Electronic Theses and Dissertations programs are another popular option for a beginning repository project. In addition, UALC has joined the Networked Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (NDLTD), which provides increased exposure and award opportunities for your students. The links collected below provide policy and documentation examples from a variety of institutions.
